Advancing the Equity Agenda Through Financial Aid Redesign and Beyond

As the Department moves forward with its Financial Aid Redesign initiative launched in March 2018 and its Equity Agenda launched in December 2018, the BHE’s October 2019 meeting featured a data-informed discussion of where these initiatives may align to support the achievement of equitable outcomes for students of color, as well as the additional “pillars of student success” that must be supported to achieve the goals of the Equity Agenda.
