While summary data on enrollment and awards conferred have long been available on DHE’s website, these new resources represent a new level of access to disaggregated data as well as visualization of trends
June 2024—DHE has unveiled new dashboards that streamline the exploration of trends in enrollment and degree awards at Massachusetts public colleges and universities. These user-friendly tools provide a seamless experience for browsing and downloading comprehensive data for in-depth analysis.
With these dashboards, users can easily navigate data from specific segments of the Massachusetts public higher education system, including community colleges, state universities, and UMass campuses. They can also drill down to individual institutions and break out data by gender, race and ethnicity, and other key dimensions.
The Annual Enrollment and Fall Enrollment dashboards offer detailed insights into headcount and FTE (full-time equivalency) enrollment, while the Awards Conferred dashboard provides an in-depth look at degrees and certificates awarded across different majors and levels of study.
In addition to visualizing data, these dashboards empower users to download the information directly from the interface or access the full multiyear datasets in the Massachusetts Education-to-Career (E2C) Research and Data Hub for more extensive analysis.
