Massachusetts SARA Fee Schedule and Payment Information

Massachusetts institutions wishing to join or continue participating in SARA should take note of the above fee schedule. The SARA fee due to the DHE is in addition to the fee to be paid to NC-SARA. In order for the DHE to review a Massachusetts institution’s initial or renewal application to operate or continue operating under SARA, the Massachusetts DHE SARA Fee must be paid first. For Massachusetts institutions applying to join SARA, payments can be submitted electronically via Tab 7 of the institutional initial or renewal application via credit card or eCheck/ACH subject to an applicable convenience fee.

DHE’s electronic payments vendor, nCourt, charges the following convenience fees for submitting payments online through the MA-SARA Portal:
